The NCEast Alliance is pleased to announce the addition of a new Regional Advocate. The NCEast Alliance is pleased to announce the addition of a new Regional Advocate. RSM US LLP (RSM) – the nation’s largest provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – joined the NCEast Alliance (NCEA) as an investor at the Regional Advocate Membership level (those entities contributing at least $5,000 per year).

The NCEA has seen continued support through membership growth over the last year. This support allows the NCEA to further its mission of branding eastern North Carolina as a prime location for the recruitment of new industry. Additionally, NCEA members help support the retention of existing industry, entrepreneurship, workforce development (through the STEM East network) and advocacy for the region.

RSM has a longstanding presence in North Carolina, dating back to the early 1900s. Today, RSM has more than 8,000 employees in 80 cities nationwide and access to more than 38,300 people in 120 countries through its membership in RSM International. The firm serves clients throughout North Carolina with offices in Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Morehead City, New Bern, Raleigh, Rocky Mount, and Wilmington. RSM provides NCEA members with resources, tools and an understanding of the global business environment to help them make confident decisions.

“RSM is proud to support the NCEA,” said Jeff Williams, partner in RSM’s New Bern office. “We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to their efforts of expanding business opportunities in eastern North Carolina.”

“RSM is a strategic partner of the Alliance, a critical player in the recruitment of new foreign-based firms entering the US marketplace,” said John Chaffee, President & CEO of NCEA. “These companies are often in need of corporate and tax advisory services prior to setting up operations in the US, and this is an area in which RSM excels.”
