(Edenton, NC) Sean Ebersold is proud to announce the opening of Ebersold Boatworks sales office at the NC East regional incubator in Edenton, North Carolina, USA. Ebersold Boatworks provides yacht refinishing and Flexiteek synthetic teak decking services. Ebersold currently has a location in Stuart, Florida that serves southeast Florida and the Caribbean region.
“We have been receiving interest in the Flexiteek product from several boat builders located in the eastern North Carolina region” says Sean Ebersold. “As the new Flexiteek distributor for North Carolina, we are here to support all boat builders by providing them a yacht quality alternative to traditional teak decking.”
“We want to welcome Sean to Edenton. Our town is excited to have Ebersold Boatworks begin its sales operation with us. We look forward to assisting with their future growth as needed” says Edenton-Chowan Partnership Chairman and NC East board member Roland Vaughan.
In 2022, Ebersold hopes to find a building where they can support the boat building community with Flexiteek fabrication and installation services. Ebersold sees strong growth potential in eastern NC due to the concentration of high-end boat builders in the region. Flexiteek is a synthetic teak material used on boats that is a long-lasting, high-performance material that appears similar to real teak and designed to cope in all weather conditions. It is currently used by multiple boat builders in eastern NC.
“Boat Building is a successful and growing industry here in eastern North Carolina” says Mark Hamblin, Chairman of NC East Alliance. “We are proud to assist Ebersold Boatworks in locating in eastern NC. We will continue to recruit suppliers of our local companies to locate here in the region.”
