As the demand for clean energy grows, Eastern North Carolina is playing an important role in the renewable energy revolution. With vast open land and coastal wind resources, the region is well-positioned to support solar, wind, and bioenergy initiatives. And Green Energy is not only driving economic growth, but also creating job opportunities that help to future-proof our local workforce.

NC East Alliance is working to support this industry by promoting workforce training, advocating for clean energy policies, and facilitating collaboration between energy companies and local educators and schools.
