The NCEast Alliance (NCEA) continues to see growing support for its strategic mission of showcasing Eastern North Carolina as an ideal location for industry relocation and expansion, tourism, and entrepreneurship. NCEA is pleased to announce three new investors have pledged their support to growing Eastern North Carolina.
Prime Investments and Development, LLC, a leading hospitality company, has joined the ranks of other Regional Advocates with its $10,000 investment. The Prime Investments portfolio includes five award winning-hotels and the Greenville Convention Center; a popular location for events and meetings. The NCEast Alliance has relied on Prime Investments as a strategic partner in hosting clients, consultants and prospects when they visit the region.
The East Group has also pledged their support of the NCEast Alliance. The East Group has been serving the region since 1975 as a comprehensive Engineering/Architecture/Survey firm. The East Group has grown from a generalist firm to one that focuses on Health Care, Industrial, and Infrastructure/Land Planning. “The company’s focus and experience positions it a strong partner to the NCEast Alliance. We are very excited to have the East Group join us as an investor and ally.”, said NCEast Alliance CEO John Chaffee.
The City of Kinston has also pledged its support as an investor in the NCEast Alliance. Kinston joins municipalities, such as Greenville NC that are proactively exploring ways to incorporate economic development into their comprehensive planning strategy to ensure future growth for areas like these.
The NCEast Alliance relies on investors to fund activities related to client relations and project development. NCEA members help support the retention of existing industry, entrepreneurship, workforce development (through the STEM East network) and advocacy for the region. John Chaffee stated, ‘our members are far more than investors, they are truly strategic partners. Our network of partners has positioned the NCEA as a full-service EDO allowing us to attract clients from abroad who are very interested in entering the US and North American markets.”
