A Foreign-Trade Zone, or FTZ, is like a “duty-free” zone for businesses. FTZs are designated sites licensed by the Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) Board that encompass a geographical area at or near a U.S. Port of Entry where commercial merchandise is treated by U.S. Customs as if it were “outside the commerce of the United States.”
In 2016, Foreign Trade Zones expanded throughout the region. These expansions have created opportunities and questions for industries and EDO professional alike. We are excited to have NCDOT FTZ 214 administrator Sebastian Montagne and Russell Held from the Port of Virginia lead a breakout session that will take a deeper dive into the benefits provided by the region's Foreign Trade Zones.
Seats are limited so register today!
